This season’s potential good anime.

In this post I will write about the anime I look most forward to every week. These anime represent my highest hopes for this spring season and I highly recommend you watch them.

Shingeki no Kyojiin:

Yes,yes, yes! Attack on titan. Lately people have fangirled over this show far too much but I do admit it’s not bad. In fact, the first two episodes were really good. But I think most people raised the bar far too high as this anime might not be able to make it to most of the people’s expectations.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko. - 01 - Large 18

Ecchi,Romance and Comedy. This isn’t going to end too well yet why do I like this so much? I think this is what people call “guilty pleasure”. I have one of these every now and then but let me tell you that I’m NOT watching this for the ecchi or the romance. Oh no,no,no. What makes this show this great is the comedy. I had a very good time watching the first episode. Hopefully, the episodes to come will be as great or even better than this one. I recommend you watch this if you could use a good laugh.

Suisei no Gargantia:

Ladies,Gentlemen….. and others: I present to you my highest hope for this season: SUISEI NO GARGANTIA! So far, this anime couldn’t have been any better than this. Amazing animations, cool characters and an interesting setting and story. If you haven’t watch this yet then I suggest you DO it now for you will definitely not be disappointed in the least.

Oreimo S2:

I consider this one of the safest anime out there with the least risk of going downhill. I have watched the first season of Oreimo at the time it was still airing and I enjoyed it quite a lot. It’s just like the first season. It’s a really entertaining show and has not failed to disappoint me.

Psycho-Pass Final thoughts.

PSYCHO-PASS.full.1349061

When I watched the first episode of this anime I knew it had potential to be great and quite frankly I was not disappointed. Psycho pass is an anime which takes place in the future where the law is based on a computerized government system called Sibyl. The Sibyl system is judging people’s murderous intent and expressing it as a value called “Psycho-Pass. The plot resolves around Tsunemori Akane, a new investigator at the police force. This anime is superior in all the aspects: the stunning visuals, the cool fight scenes, awesome plot, great music and memorable characters.

pp11makishima

I have a weird habit of liking the antagonist more than the protagonist and Psycho-Pass is no exception. The anime’s antagonist, Shogo Makishima, was by far my favorite character in the whole anime. If it weren’t for him, this anime wouldn’t have been this good. I could definetly relate to his goal of getting rid of the Sibyl system and he was definetly entertaining whenever he would kill someone, making me laugh like a maniac due to how evil this guy can be sometimes. But then again this is just me, so it may just be the total opposite for you.

Ending-theme

The anime’s plot is definitely one of the best things, making you question yourself whether or not you would blindly follow such a system or oppose it. The most logical thing is oppose it which is what most of the characters did, even though not all of them had the courage to do it and just kept their thoughts hidden. The ending was satisfying but a bit too predictable for my tastes.

In conclusion, I give Psyscho-Pass a score of 8.5 out of 10 and strongly recommend you to watch it if you haven’t done it yet.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha : First impressions

I'll slice you

Along the new anime this season this was the one that stood out the most. Why? That’s because I seem to have a thing for fantasylike romances. And so right before maoyuu started airing I read the manga and I couldn’t help but think how similar this is to Spice and Wolf, one of my favourite anime( if you have not seen spice and wolf then you better get out there and watch it. Seriously what are you doing with your life?!). Soon afterwards I had a look at both of them and noticed something incredible: The voice actors for the two main characters in Spice and Wolf are the same ones in Maoyuu! Same goes for the director. This really got my hopes up.

Fortunetly, I was not disappointed. The atmosphere, the dialogues and the fanservice is just like Spice and Wolf.

Boat

It’s a very entertaining first episode even if the begining was rushed. There was a bit of fanservice here and there but nothing really major. As long as they don’t focus on it too much I don’t think it will affect the show in a negative way.

That’s about all I have to say about maoyuu for now. All that’s left is to wait and see if “whats after the hill” will be interesting or not. Frankly, I have a feeling it will be!

Happy new year 2013!

5a258cf562b57f9a7360752229dcf834This year sure went by fast. For me it was full of achievements and one of them was being able to blog for 5 months (which for some may seem like a mediocre achievement but for me it’s quite something!). I also met alot of new people and made alot of new friends. Also had some pretty deep conversations with them and I even gave life counseling which is something that I have never done before:P.

I’ve honestly had alot of achievements this year but enough about me because this is supposed to be about you guys. I wish you all a happy new year and I hope you all had fun in 2012. But before 2013 comes I have a question for all of you: What is your new year resolution?

My new year resolution is for things to keep going as they have up until now and good plus would be to find my partner (if you know what I mean 😉 )

Special thanks for Myschi,Akshay,Sarckz,Sergio and Marth for making 2012 a little brighter! 🙂

The truth about watching currently airing anime.

It’s been about 3 years since I’ve started watching currently airing anime even though at that time I was only watching about one or two series, I was still pretty excited waiting for the next episodes. Truth is, the wait itself was the exciting part making me try to guess what would happen next.

And because of that I was 99% of the times under the impression that what I was watching was by far the most awesome anime out there ( of course I was dissapointed each time an anime ended and wished for a second season only to facepalm myself later for wishing something like that). This process repeated for a long long time before I actually realised this.

Truth is, the chances of actually finding an awesome anime in a season are really low. For example: The only awesome anime in the last 2 years were Madoka,Steins;Gate,Gosick,AnoHana,Fate/zero and a few more. Considering the huge number that have aired during this time I say that the chances are really low. Even though our real purpose for watching airing anime is to find good anime like theese we still enjoy most of them. As I said above, the wait itself is the part which gets up excited about them. This is just a little something which I was thinking about recently so I thought I’d share it with you guys. Tell me what you think.
